Happy Mother's Day - post a picture of your mom
#63
My Mom and I have always been very close. I was the middle child of 3 and most like her. She taught me to sew when I was young. Her mother taught her to sew when she was 5. Grandma was a seamstress and taught sewing for the Singer Co. She died with Mom was 18. My Mom and I learned to quilt together and loved to take classes together to learn new skills. She taught both my daughters to sew when they were little. Mom is 82 now and nearly blind, so she can't sew anymore. That has been very hard for her. I love her dearly and feel so blessed to still have her.
