drugs are so expensive here BECAUSE they are so cheap every where else. The poor drug companies have to make their profits somewhere.
Call or write your representatives and tell them you are tired of big drug companies writing policy in this country. We could be just like Canada and have cheaper drug prices but the reps won't vote it in because they are getting BIG campaign contributions from the drug companies. So they do what is best for the drug companies instead of what is best for their constituents.

Well, next time you go to Mexico, feel free to pick me up a good supply! My cost after insurance is 54 a month. Sometimes they have the Advair 50.00 coupons available, but not very often I am finding out. Walmart says as soon as they get them in, the supply is gone in no time.

We have the option through our insurance to go through an online site. after reading this post, I think I will stick to standing in the long lines at Walmart and wait.

My DSIL pays 160 a month for her Plavix...and it is something she really must take. She had a heart attack at the age of 46. So..it is 100% needed.

O K let's assume they had to make the call to let you know they were out of the generic, but come on, to ask such a stupid question? Just makes one wonder if people really think before they speak. I can see if they made a joke out of the question, but I am guessing they were serious.

I feel your pain. I have M.S. and ONE drug that I take is over 3.000 a month (injectable) and another I take for acid reflux is over 1,000 for 3 months. Without insurance I'd REALLY have to suffer.
