She did a good job.
Many years ago I tried to straighten my blonde very curly hair
with some kind of chemical. It turned out like straw!

Now I just use a curling iron and it comes out wavy.
Or I just leave it curly. I do keep it short.

Well it sure makes you look different!! How long does it last? But you know my hair doesn't do anything so I really don't neet instructions for this

You look wonderful in both pictures but it all depends on which way you like it best. Either way is great.

You look beautiful both ways. I was born a redhead with curly hair. I remember when my greatgrandmother had me for a few weeks before school and decided to perm my hair. It was so fly away outside that I could not go out. My mother almost had a heart attack when she picked me up. I straightened my hair one time as an adult and almost cried because I didn't know what to do with it. It would do nothing for me. I will keep my curly hair. I use a blow dryer or brush rollers sometimes to get the curl out. It does frizz up in humid weather. I now color my hair and keep it just a little longer to be able to keep it curled and styled. Once in a while in the summer I just let it curl up when its hot and humid.

Oh, ptquilts...you made me smile to think back. Yes, to the orange juice cans and I used to lay my head on ironing board and iron my hair too. I had natural wavy hair and straight was the "in" thing.

You're a knockout!! I love it!!

Yes, I've gotten my hair straightened way to many times to count.. everytime a perm would look like &)@*(&, I couldn't stand it and would straighten it..

I think the last time I did that was back about 14 years ago..now I flatten it with a flat iron (haven't had a perm in as long, but you couldn't tell with the way my hair looks when I wake up)
