How did/do you deal with it? I met her after my mom passed away , so she became mother, friend, sister etc to me. She didn't sew but so Loved to see what all I made and made me feel good about it when I felt I was doing it wrong. She died Sat. Stroke and when she fell she fractured spine and infection/gain green (sp) set in. I'm just lost. Thanks for letting me talk it out.

Bev, I am so sorry to hear of your terrible loss and so suddenly. it is difficult to deal with I know. Stay strong my friend and take one day at a time, perhaps hour by hour. You will get there. Remember she will always be in your heart.

Hi Bev, Oh that is such a hard thing to go through. But we have no other choice. The first thing you've already done- gotten it out to the universe. That's a very good start. You can talk to us, another person you feel comfortable with, write your thoughts down, join a bereavement group, etc. These are just a few ideas.
When my Dad died my neighbor had some great stuff to read about loss, as he had recently lost his Mom and was grieving her. It helped me a lot. I think he got it from one of those groups. Get those feelings out somehow, no matter what, in the way that works for you. We are all different but keeping emotions bottled up is not usually the way to go. If church helps you that's another avenue.
You can PM me anytime. BIG HUGS, Sue
So sorry.

Aw Bev, how sad. I am very sorry. Sounds like you have lots of memories of your time together. Hang on to those for now.
