Have you noticed ?

Was shopping the other day and decided to treat my DH and myself to a package of cookies. Imagine my surprise when the only type of cookies on the shelf were numerous types of Oreo, Chips Ahoy and those extremely hard oatmeal cookies that are only edible if you are a dunker! And it seems graham crackers are no longer considered crackers but are now in the cookies aisle and who knows where the Vanilla Wafers ended up.

I so agree with you! My washer died this week. Fortunately, we live in a small corner of E. Tn and we can still go and see, handle, and compare prices before we buy. That sort of impersonal buying doesn't seem to bother young folks, but as an old crone in her 80's, I still want to look, feel, and check out stuff. My new machine will be delivered on Tue.

I remember when you could buy a type of clothing, i.e., Levi 505 jeans, and when you wanted another pair, you could buy them and they would be exactly the same. Now I buy Amanda pants and even those change with the weather. Loved knowing just what I would be buying. Make up is one of the products that is under constant change. Can be very frustrating when you find something that really works for you.
