I can't believe we have our 30th reunion this weekend. I don't feel that "old" yet. We lost one of the sweetest guys to cancer this year. He will be noticably missed this weekend.
We had 676 graduates in 1981 and only around 60 are coming to the reunion (plus spouses). So, I'm curious, do folks like to go to reunions or not?

I try to go to ours. It's 45 years for me this year, but haven't heard about a reunion yet. Our last was 40. We had a very small class of 28. I think we've lost 2 out of the class so far. Very small community and some still live there, most have moved away. Always enjoy to see everyone.

My class of 101 graduated 40 years ago this next spring. I remember when my mother went to her 40th high school reunion and how I thought everyone attending would be so old!

Meh! I went to the 20th and the 25th. Didn't like most of those people in high school, why would I want to hang with them now. All the good people I see when I want to, not every 5 years.

My 40th will be next year. I went to my 20th and my 30th. In my experience at both reunions, people qre pleasant until the alcohol flows for a while. Then they revert back to the same immature behavior they engaged in in high school. Then my feet start hurting. Then I'm ready to leave. After the last one, I vowed never to attend another.

We had our 50th last year.

Out of 18 surviving members, 15 showed up.

I've only been to our 10th reunion and never to any other since. Next year is our 40th year reunion and though a friend keeps asking me to attend, I won't. I figured that if my classmates friendship were important, then we would have kept in contact all these years. I have nothing in common with these people anymore and they wouldn't know me from Adam anyway....I think our graduating class had 700 students in it.

I only made it to my 30th. We had around 150 including spouses and I had a graduating class of 565.

yikes 25 year out next june...
we only had a 10 year one and I didn't go. I felt my life was a mess, and I had nothing to show. (Going threw a divorce at that time, not the best place to be)
they tried to do a 20th but nothing came of it.

I gratuated in 1987 with 332 graduates....
