I like my P.B. with crisp bacon as a sandwich. Also like P.B. on pretzels.

My real favorite is: fresh crisp Jewish rye bread - chunky P.B.... and regular Fritos corn chips as the topping!

(All of the above are too many calories now.)

A spoonful is a favorite breakfast! Have always been a fan of PB & J sandwiches-my comfort food.

    Janet,

Yes, I believe you about the allergy.

My youngest son was 61/2 when he had annaphylaxis and when I got him to the hospital (1 mile) they had to revive him. I didn't know anything about the reaction but no one goes from okay to eyes swelled shut and tongue swelled and total rash and hives in five minutes. Had I waited for an emergency police carrier I don't know if he would have made it. He had eaten p.b.crackers since he could hold it in his hand...maybe six months old.

Long story short, he is 42 and in Europe traveling with his girlfriend.

I also need to say I have read all of the posts here and will try all that I have not heard-of before. I am just not sure about the tomatoes and onions.

I cut up an apple and put a little peanut butter on each piece.
Peter Pan peanut butter with honey is the best but I can't find it anywhere .

I also love PB and banana sandwiches, PB ice cream, PB cookies made with real PB, etc. I only use the natural kind because I don't want to be eating sugar in my peanut butter.

I can't eat peanut butter much anymore - it just gives me heart burn. It doesn't matter which kind, including organic.

When I could eat it, I liked eating it with bacon on bread.
