I made one just like it only used thinner thread. I may give it away but no one would pay as much as I feel it's worth. I would not sell mine for $500. It is beautiful and I for one appreciate how much work is in it. :)

Thanks all for the wonderful comments. M mother used to crochet these only she left out a few rows here and there. sold them 150. Mine however if the full pattern and there was one mistake in it and I found it 13 rows back... yep i ripped out 13 rows! It was taking me like 1 hour to go around it then.. I made this 10 years ago and have had it in my cedar chest. I cannot crochet like this anymore as my elbows bother me when I do.. once again thanks I will keep you as to how much and when if I sell it..
