Yep.. I popped in looking for a morning post too.

Ya know.. WHO KNOCKS on someone's door at that hour to ask directions? A sane person would go into town and ask at a service station or restaurant... some OPEN business. I do feel the person was up to no good.. OR asking to be shot.

I live 8 miles out of town, and it's PITCH DARK out here. I do have a low light front porch light (a 25 wt) that we leave on all night, and Carl put motion detector lights on both ends of the house. The deer and other varmints trip them a lot...but that's just fine by me.

What a scary ordeal.. ESPECIALLY with the super aggressive home invasion stuff you read about now.

What time was this? Are you near any stores, gas stations etc. Never answer the door at night. Leave an outside light on from dust to dawn. Allow the dogs to bark to their hearts content so the stranger will know you have them.
