Be safe everyone in the path of Sandy. Here in Mississippi, yesterday the wind was blowing HARD...like hard to walk! Temps have drop considerably.

Prayers to all out there in the path of this storm. We are going to get some of it's wrath here in Canada in the next couple of days but nothing like what you all in the States are going to get. Our East Coast: PEI, Newfoundland etc. will probably get the worst of it in Canada. May God keep everyone safe.

Left Ontario Wed -not sure what weather we would find in south west Fl - pleasant but breezy. Arrived Fri afternoon TV's didn't work and no phone either so very concerned but not due to storm. Repairman coming Mon afternoon.
Naturally, we were low in min on the cell phone but bought more to call Centurylink. At least it's sunny and warm to go in the pool and exercise my knee. Hope there is not a lot of damage as now the storm is going towards my
northern home.

Where in the N.E. lower peninsula of Michigan do you live. I am in the S.E. part of Michigan and just looked at the weather and we are expecting rain but no mention of snow. My two grandsons would love it if we got some snow, we didn't get much of anything last year and they were so disappointed.

Since I posted that they have also taken the snow out of the forecast I am on the East shore of Lake Huron about 50 miles south of the Mackinaw Bridge

I am worried sick because my son and girlfriend are leaving Tuesday night (upstate NY) and driving to Florida. I can only hope that they will be o.k. When do we stop worrying?

Prayers for all of you in the storm's path. Down here in New Orleans we're used to such storms but it's unusual for you guys. In my preparation for a hurricane I make sure everything's charged, have some real books on hand and lots and lots of applique or hand piecing I can do while the power's out. Everyone keep safe.
