My husband does Cross Stitch. He was given a formula to calculate the cost.


1. Take the cost of the thread each color, any other supplies you use such as stablizer.

2. than you take the number of stitches divide by two and multiply by .01

3. Add together the costs in #1 and #2

4. Take total $ amount of 3 and times by 50% = total cost

Add up all of your costs, fuel included if you deliver or fetch things, then at least double it. If the final figure doesn't seem enough to include the effort, put another amount on top. Good luck with it.
