Coke is garbage, to be sure, but we are talking about a YEAR of soaking... And all it did was dissolve the shell.

We all know carbonated stuff is not good for us. I quit drinking it long time ago, and haven't missed it. I drink purified/filtered water. Tap water is bad too..... But, I don't try to convert anyone. All I know is my family has had no colds since we stopped using tap water. The stuff is full of chemicals. And, at my age, I need all the help I can get.

yep, straight Coke syrup will desolve nails too. Of course one would have to ask themselves why they would be eating nails with their coke.

You will get the same result if you soak an egg covered in white vinager for 5-7 days. We did this in my high school science class back in the 70's. It turns the whites rubbery.

If you are drinking it everyday it is doing the same damage to the calcium in your bones as it did with the egg. It doesn't matter if it is diet or regular soda they will eat away at your calcium.

Good Luck

Oh come on - it's been in the soda for a year. It leaves my system in a day.
