I've had a Bosch induction cooktop since we bought a house and renovated into my 'dream kitchen' almost 3 years ago. And used a single induction hob (burner) extensively in our four years as full-time RV'ers prior to that. There aren't enough complementary adjectives to describe my satisfaction with my cooktop! We live in Mississippi, so heat control in the summertime is always a consideration. I especially appreciate the lack of heat generated into the room!! Only the pot/skillet/etc. and whatever is in it gets hot. Heats very quickly; the controls are literally just as responsive as a gas burner. It's a win-win for me. I found the transition to induction cooking to be totally 'painless' - almost non-existent. My experience has been my cookware doesn't get nearly as crusty, burned-on residue, gunky as with gas - stays much cleaner! Another plus!
