    May I ask what your Advent Calendar is made from? The colors are so bright for the many years it's been a part of your traditions. It is so beautiful! I'm enjoying watching it grow

    Hello, it's made from laminated card board and it's only hanging on the wall for 4 weeks every year, the rest of the year it lies in a box!!!
    And we handle it very very careful so that we can use for many coming years.....

    Hello, I wish you all a nice and wonderful 4th of Advent!! Over here it's grey and foggy: the right weather staying home and lighting the 4th candle on the "Adventskranz" and enjoying all the cookies and "Lebkuchen" and "Pfeffernüsse"!!!

    And the "end" is near: tomorrow there will be the "Holy Night", over here it's the day where the gifts lie under the Christmas tree and were unpacked!! In some families the "Weihnachtsmann" or "Santa Claus" is coming in person and giving the presents to the children. I remember that I was very frightened as a child.....
