I saw the neighbor tonight - he was getting ready to pick some sweet cherries from his trees and make a pie, too! Love the fresh cherries.

I love cherries and I would be making jam if I had some. I refuse to pay what they are charging in Florida but they may go on sale.....

Hubby is out night fishing tonight so I got a few hours of sewing time in. All in all - a good day!

I wish I had known you when I lived in Orlando----you could have shown me how to make that bread and those cookies. Man they look good!

Now that sounds like a fab offer---my daughter lives in Casselberry and we visit as often as we can.

Rosie, wondering if I could start with a similar bread recipe and add the dried fruit and seeds.

Sure, why not...use a pumpernickle recipe more or less and just add what you want, like the stuff I listed...but you must let it rise at least 2 hours for the first rising and 1 1/2 for the second rising before baking. The reason being, because of all the fruit etc, it takes longer and you don't want a heavy bread. Remember to grind the flax seeds .....
