Because of a problem, my husband just yesterday had to have a mammogram. I had always told him about being 'squished' and all the misery that accompanies the test. Well, he found out first hand - and said he understands now - particularly since he really doesn't have breasts to squeeze between those plates. But somehow they managed. On a good note, the problem was determined to be a reaction to some medications he is taking. Whew, we were pretty worried there for awhile.

After experiencing something similar on my first and last visit to have one of those , it is so close to the excruciating truth that the humour is lost on me...I now have ultrasounds instead!

I'm sending this on to friends and relatives. This is too funny! I just had to have follow-up mamogram and just love it when they've finished tightening the vise grip on your breast then say "don't breathe"!! Who can breathe at that point anyway!!!!

So funny. Mamograms are NO Fun at all! But I wonder how the get the boobs of those skiny, skinny women into the vise. OWCH!
