I really did have a similar experience happen with a lower GI. The first one the tech screwed up. The second one, the xray machine broke. The THIRD one, they put me in this brand new radiology suite. I was laying on the table with my naked fanny pointed toward the door when a touring group of doctors from Canada traipsed in. I yelled at them to get the blank out. The one dr said, dont worry we are all professionals here. I pointed to the open door that had a direct view of the twenty five people in the waiting room and said but they arent so dont let the door hit you on the way out!

I was never billed and neither was my insurance. I never went back to that hospital.

I actually had this problem when I had a mamogram several years ago--the lights went off and the tech forgot me. It wasn't any fun being trapped. I'm sure there is some way to release the machine but she didn't even try. I was not pleased.
