Good Heavens! Thank goodness you got help in a timely fashion and are still among us to enjoy life. And I am sure you will enjoy it more now, after a scare like that.

I had the same thing in my lungs and legs 6 years ago. I'm still on blood thinners and go to the dr. every 3 months. Each time I tell him I'm short of breath after walking a short distance or any exertion so went for more testing. Nothing wrong, but it's probably due to being overweight now. I'm working on losing the excess and have a long way to go.

Yesterday my DH went to the ER with similar symptoms. Went through all kinds of test and said he has a blood clot on his lung. That is all I know right now. He's still in the hospital and I will find out more when I visit this afternoon. He's 64 and we decided it's not easy getting old. It's not for wimps.
