You can go to the site below and get a little program that will change PDF formats to kindle the transfer to your kindle. The Kansas library has books in PDF format and they are free. Also, my last embroidery software upgrade had the manual on the CD in pdf. I just transferred it to my kindle as well.

For sure, not holding anything like a book in my hands
and listening to the drama being read aloud to the end of the book, while I am looking at what I am making is the reason my projects get done! AUDIO books from the library make the time just fly by! Suddenly .......blocks are finished, or sewed together or.....!

I just got my Kindle and have used Amazon to get some free books. Takes a while to find your way around.

also check your library..mine is starting to offer books that you can download onto the Kindle

I go to the genre I want on Amazon Kindle store, then click the sort button so the price is in ascending order.
