There should always be another use for things than their original purpose. As long as it doesn't look like a pair of granny panties tied. On the doll's head, I'm ok with it.
today i gave my some day dgd some dolly and me outfits. Her first question? Did you make them?? She wants me to make a dress for her, too, so you know i will! Dgd's are so much fun!!
love the tote! I try to make the pieces with the same finishes i use on people clothes . That is the challenge and fun of it for me.

I have two sons. So far my dgd is acting so much like her daddy i am taken back thirty three years! Boys are a blast, and tender and sweet, too. I would gladly have ten of each!

How cute! My plan this year is to make pj pants for everyone and buy tops. D-almostgd will get the matching sets for her two dolls. For her birthday she and my dd are getting matching aprons and a cookbook, as well as aprons for her. Dolls. Figure i only have a couple years left at. Best, and then other dgd should be old enough for the dolls. Then four more years with her! And good news. Tonight--- i was told i will be a grammi again ( but don't tell anyone, ok? Thanks! Lololol. I am a happy woman. Dgd was given a bitty baby for her b'day so i will make some clothes for that baby, too.
