I have decided to cut out diet pop and drink the real thing. Trying to give up everything diet and just cut the portions. I know I need to exercize more. I just get lazy about that. I do drink alot of water.

Are you preparing these yourself? If not, watch the sugar levels- some of them are scary.

Honey is definitely better but it still raises blood sugar as it is just that, a sugar, even though it has vitamins and minerals in it. I am diabetic, newly diagnosed, and have switched to Xylitol. Check it out.....it is all natural and safe for diabetics, unlike Splenda which is bleached sugar and harmful. It also stops cavities and is excellent as a gargle for sore throat of any kind.

Diet soda? Don't even touch it. I used to drink it and weaned myself off by adding 1/4th water at first and finally got to all water. Now it's all I drink and you talk about taking weight off!!! Wow, water is the key!!

I'm going to overcome this diabetes by diet alone and quickly!! :) :)
