Right here with you on this! Our schools announced at 3pm closings for Wed. Just now finished up a 24x24 NICU quilt top. Loved an avatar on this board and tried my hand at duplicating it.

We belong to a virtual school that's further north - above all this. I hope I get time to sew - we still will be doing school! The drifts are getting higher - I'm almost afraid to go to bed -if it's like this now, what will it be like when we wake up?!

It's bad, bad, bad here!! Where my husband works is the only place open in town today. The wind is blowing the now making it impossible to see where you are going. It's a good day to stay home and sew.

I believe we got about 14". Sun is shinning, but it is 18 degrees, and windy. Helped shovel the neighbor's drive, because my husband had ours about done when I got out there. LOL! I left work early yesterday, so got home before it got too bad. The factory my husband works at closed. I work at a bank, and they all closed early yesterday, and all banks are closed today too. Don't know if I will get any quilting done, because I have 4 pairs of pants to hem for a lady at work. Also made a big pot of Chili, cooking a whole chicken for Chicken and Noodles, and have to bake some cookies for Church. Doing laundry too. Well, better get busy! Everyone stay safe!!!

My bank was closed too - ended up having to use the ATM machine - I went to 3 ATM machines before I found one that worked! I guess everyone had the same idea. The first 2 were out of envelopes so it wouldn't take the deposit.

I agree with you on that one but this storm they had down pat - even what time it would start and finish.

At least 18" of snow here - uggghhhhhh :( tired and sore tonight.

Frigid tomorrow - but glad I don't have to shovel frigid! I can just stay in and sew.

They were right about this storm. But, too many people didn't pay attention. Did you see the pictures of the 300 or more cars stuck on Lake Shore Dr. in Chicago? What a mess.
