How nice for you! I am back in school now...and this Sat DD heads back to her college campus, DH heads off to his work's national convention, and other DD is visiting her fiance in another state. I am looking forward to doing the same...some cleaning and quilting! I have loved having the girls home for Xmas vacation but it is time for my life to get back to some kind of normal!

Have a great time! I'm suffering from the opposite - for the last 2 weeks of the year I was off work (combo vacation time and plant shutdown) and sewed to my heart's content. I had to go back to work today, so now not as much sewing time!

Nonstop cooking from Thanksgiving thru Christmas. Like you-- house cleaned up and I'm ready to quilt! Jan. Feb. March are my months to regroup, quilt-- read books and just veg. Are we sisters-in-quilting alike or what! Two more months to retire from working 7 days a week, look out stash--here I come!!

I can't do that when everyone is here, eating, leaving me dirty dishes, not picking up after themselves, etc. The Holiday break is over, school started back up, and I want ME time! LOL

So, yesterday, I got everything in order, mopped, scrubbed floors and bathrooms. Did laundry all day, changed sheets, vacuumed, I did it ALL so I could start today on a new project.

I am excited because this is the first time since before Thanksgiving that I can actually sew. Wish me luck! Now, I just gotta get away from this board! LOL I will, in 10 more minutes! HEHEHEHEHE
So, don't just sit there - Come help the rest of us. Edie
