the closest thing to a green drink you'll get me to drink are my smoothies i make for the kids. i don't exactly have a recipe but this what i put in them: a bit of vanilla fat free frozen yogurt, this is what gets the kids to drink them. bananas, mashed squash and sweet potato, frozen berries. sometimes i add other veggies but they like this one cause it's pink and they don't know it has veggies in it, which is great cause they won't touch anything with veggies in it. i think my oldest is almost on to me. she keeps asking me if i'm sure it doesn't have carrot juice in it. (:

Here is the recipie I used,my DH said it tasted like his fresh mown lawn

Dr. Fuhrman’s Green Longevity Drink
Makes 4 cups

1 large head romaine lettuce
1 1/2 cups spinach
2 sprigs parsley
1 cup broccoli florets
2 leaves mustard greens or turnip greens
3 collard leaves
1/2 cup watercress
1/8 tsp. oregano
1/2 avocado
1 banana, peeled
3 large strawberries
1 cup frozen or fresh blueberries
1/2 papaya or mango
1 1/2 tsp. flax seeds
1 1/2 tsp. sunflower seeds
1 1/2 tsp. sesame seeds

1. Place 1/2 cup water into blender, adding ingredients, one by one, and blending until liquefied.

2. Pour 1 cup of Dr. Fuhrman’s Green Longevity Drink into glass, adding water and stirring until desired consistency is reached. Store remainder in an airtight container and refrigerate.

With that recipe, to get him used to it I'd cut down drastically on the green stuff and when he gets used to it then you can start edging up on the greens.

That's the only way I had of getting my DH to eat anything I thought healthy for him that he wasn't used to. You have no idea of how stubborn a half Portuguese =German man can be when he makes up his mind to say NO!!

I think I could drink this :)

I'd have to make it a slushie tho - frozen fruit, frozen veggies; and I'd have to grind up the seeds really finely first too, so they wouldn't end up as chunks or seem like grit.
