I don't think its wrong, she made tenative plans and its only breakfast, so he can stay with the company why she gose to breakfast, she can let the company know that she will be back, that she had already made plans. God bless. Penny

If he had said he didn't want go either and the only reason he had was to use the daughter's visit then he would be entertaining them all day by himself instead of just during breakfast hours.
