I thank you all for being here for me during such a hard time. I have to tell the truth, I am very much of a loner. I have had few really close friends in my life and kitty was one of them. That isn't to say I don't know many people from my church and when I was in school. But close friends have been few and select.

She was a very wonderful person and as much as you can love another person who is your friend, I loved her.

sincere condolences. No one knows when it will come. She died doing one of her favorite things. That's not so bad for her, but i feel for your loss and experience.

Aw, that's sad. Hope she had a good time in Sacramento as her last trip. We lost our neighborlady a few years ago in similar circumstances and we now have her horse - Merle. I think Emma would be happy about that and your friend would be happy that the sewing machine went to a good home as well.

I'm so sorry for your loss, RG. Her daughter will need all of you to be her moms now.

I am so sorry, RedGarnet. The loss of a good friend is heartbreaking. I am crying for you and with you.

I have good quilty buddies and don't want that to happen, even though it is inevitable. I hope you find comfort and solace in your shared experiences.

Hugs,
MJ

I am so sorry for your loss. It is hard to lose someone so close to you. Think of her everytime you use her machine. It will bring you comfort and happy memories of the time you spent together.
