That is incredible coincidence! I'm so glad they found their way home. It looks like you used the same pattern I use for mine too, a McCalls pattern from the '70?

I don't think there is anything crazy with a small boy having a raggedy Andy doll.

I actually still have the original pattern for those. Every time I gather all the materials, I end up using the red and white stripe for something else! I also have a pattern that makes a 3’ rag doll, thatI made for my DDs when they were little, and made DDs matching outfits.

When I first read this I thought I read it wrong! What a nice coincidence, indeed!
I have 3 boys and they had cabbage patch dolls and also stuffed animals I made them. They loved them!
Native Texan, Really, some people have no imagination, right?

Wonderful. I call it silver threads that connect. Cute dolls.

I have made Raggedy Andy dolls for little boys and even made a curly, crochet wig for one Andy who had "lost" his hair. Naturally, the young man involved says he has no recollection of Andy. When Cabbage Patch kids were the rage in the early 1980's, our youngsters had the generic knockoffs. The male child had swim trunks, fleece sweatshirt and pants sets with team logos, etc. This man played tea party with his nieces a decade ago. The nieces were surprised this hunk who wrestled and played football knew how to play with them! Nothing wrong with using one's imagination IMHO.
