I got a certificate for a massage, chocolate, Estee Lauder perfume and lotion, some pottery and a Barnes and Noble gift card.

DH and I bought a Kuerig single-cup coffeemaker as a gift to us both.

Most of what I got was from my kids. Since I am planning to buy a new sewing machine, DH is going to pay for part of it when I decide what I want as the rest of my Christmas present.

It has been a nice Christmas, especially since all four of our kids are home.

We had a wonderful day and I got sew many wonderful gifts. My oldest daughter gave me a gift certificate from a clothing store. Second daughter gave me Fabricland giftcard and a quilt book called Creative Sewing Techniques by Machine. Son gave me a gift card to Chapters and a book called Redwork from the Workbasket by Rebecca Kemp Brent. My Mom gave me Quilts from Grandmothers Garden. My husband gave me the John Flynn quilting frame, several Kitchen-Aid items and money to get some feet for my machine.

My best present was my 8 year old grand daughter telling me that I give the best presents and how much she love what I made for her and her sisters.

We buy anything we want all through the year, pick it ourselves and is always just what we want.

I hit the motherlode this year... I got two necklaces, one from each son (okay, I bought them myself on Black Friday but hubby begged me to let the boys give them to me) some garden gnomes & two quilting books from my mom - 101 9 patch quilts by Marti Michell and Grandma's Best Full Size Quilt Blocks book that looks like it will come in handy...
I also scored a wii (finally after years of begging to get one) and the wii fit board. I'm going to pick up a few games on Amazon and in the stores this week.

Those are the highlights of my loot. I'm happy :)

Right, Left, Block... clank clank clank... Left Right Block.. I am digging the boxing. I am terrible at the bubble thing where you have to steer yourself down the river.... and sadly my wii fit age is 15 years older than I am so I have some serious work to do!! It's a goal of mine to look hot in a bikini by this fall when my sister gets married in Cancun... don't want to scare away the tourists ya know :D

I was extremely blessed this year oldest DD gave me a pair of swaraski earrings and a GPS, youngest DD got me a fabulous windchime, a storage bin for quilt things, and a 365 cat calendar, significant other got me a portable design wall!!! I asked him a few weeks ago if he would make me one and we looked online for some idea of how he could make it and he consulted youngest DD to see if she thought I would like the portable one. Of course I love it. Once we (youngest DD and I) get our sewing room rearranged we're going to put the wall up. Youngest DD has moved her sewing machine to my house and declared to her husband that she NEEDS to quilt with me and that he should help build some storage cabinets for us.
