Here on PBS we have "Sewing with Nancy" - "Knit and Crochet" - "Martha Pullen" - "Fons and Porter" - and "America Sews". These are on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. I thoroughly enjoy this time and consider my self lucky to have them on. Sure hope all of you will again enjoy these.

So I turned on my tv this morning to watch them and there's a home repair show on.
I wondered is it campaign week where PBS does special programming to raise money? No that's not it.
Then I checked for the shows in the Search function of my cable system.
Fons and Porter and Sewing with Nancy aren't even listed anymore.
So now there are no sewing, quilting, knitting, crafting shows of any kind on my cable.
But, oh Joy!!! if I ever want to buy, sell, repair a house there are a lot to see.
Grrrr

I DO agree with you wholeheartedly. Back in the day (LOL) I had Kay Wood, Eleanor Burns, Sharlene Jorgensen, Fon, & Porter, and the list goes on & on. Makes you wonder if we don't count anymore or should change hobbies. I get more than a bit upset when I can't find a show. They even moved Alex Anderson to a channel that I can't get. Where do you find her program, if at all?

Nothing left in Georgia or South Carolina either. Disgusted. Have written letters. Have ceased to support. TV rarely turned on. Will probably cancel cable. Nothing fit to watch. Listen to NPR for news, XM for music. LIG.
