Is there anybody out there who does pinterest a lot and would be willing to help me get out of a snarl?

Thanks

Sucia

Well if I knew the details, I probably wouldn't need help. I have a place where I can go in my favorites that says it is my "pin" place and it has my name. It has nothing pinned, because I can't figure out out to pin things so they stay pinned.

Yesterday, BH&G sent me some stuff and told me to pin it, so I tried and as usual it didn't work even tho- they had different directions.

Now I have a line floating on the bottom of my toolbar that has a link to pinterest, an Icon to save to faves, and and icon to a web site I just visited, that I would have pinned if I knew how.

I have a very hard time reading directions in one place and going to another place and following them. (Stroke)

So I might like to use pinterest, if I could figure out how, and I'd like to know what that stuff is on my toolbar.

I pin things all the time and they stay pinned to Maureen's Favorites. You have to hit Repin and then the screen will change and you hit Pin it.

Have you downloaded the pinmarklet from Pinterest? It's a button that lives in your bookmarks toolbar. When you want to pin something, you click on the pinmarklet button and it will pull up the pictures on that web page. You click on the picture you'd like to pin.

But remember, you can't pin from facebook. You can from the Quilting Board.

No I have tried to put something in my favorites a couple of times but it won't let me move anything. I am very confused by this.

I got some stuff in there today, but I still have to go through contortions to get to my boards.

Is there anyway to take some thing off of one folder and put it on another?

Thanks for all the good advice.

Yes, you can edit your boards. When you hover over a picture, several things will show, one of them is an edit button. Click it and it will allow you to assign the picture to a different board (or folder, as you call them).

It sounds like you really need to read the Pinterest "Pinning 101" information page.
