Mel....I'm saying you are having a boy.
Andrea....I think you are having a girl.
But, with my luck, it'll be the other way around.

I'm going with a girl. My doctor always said the speed of the heartbeat couldn't tell you if it was a boy or girl, but in my case it was always right.

Really? I can't really compare, since this is my first, but the way things are going sometimes I think there are two or three of them in there, I'm getting kicks and jabs from all over! Either that or the baby's doing some kind of weird african tribal dance where they hop and jump and wiggle all over the place, lol!
hee hee.. yep I can relate there!! I keep thinking mine will be a future Cirque du Soleil Acrobat performer!!!

I have no idea.. I only heard it for the first time a week and a half ago and that was only cause I thought I had a scare and went to emergency. it seemed fast, but babies heartbeats are faster than ours anyway.

I'm thinking I might be having a boy... but hey I'll know in two more sleeps!

Mel, your little bump looks so cute! Isn't it a miracle...a tiny bump like that becomes a human being. It ALMOST makes me want to be pregnant again.

I never lost all my preggie weight...I went from 121 to 167lbs..46lb. weight gain. My DS was 9lb 1oz....all in length. I remember looking at him in the hospital nursery...he was next to a bassinette with a baby girl that weighed 9lbs 3 oz...she looked so chubby and DS looked so skinny. He is now way taller than my 5'8" and still slight. I got back to 133lbs but never lower.
