So glad the little boy is okay. I never used an electric blanket because I was afraid of them. Didn't know you couldn't use other blankets in combination with an electric blanket. This Quilting Forum is wonderful...we all learn so much.

I have used an electric blanket for years with my quilts
but I always use cotton batting.
and the dog sleeps on the bed!
yikes will have to rethink this!

Never felt safe with electric blankets. Will stick with quilts besides they are much prettier.

That's why I never use poly batting, especially in children's quilts...it melts and sticks to the skin. Glad everyone is okay.

wow...I sleep under an elec blanket and quilt all winter long but never leave it on....was the blanket on high??? never saw one get that hot...
