I quit after 32 yrs by using a fake cigarette. It looked like an ob tampon and made my kids giggle, but it worked. I never, or rarely, think about having a cigarette, but in my dreams i still smoke! Smoke used to smell sooo good to me, but not any more. Now i understand why people ask others to smoke outside! Lol.
I'm proud of you! It is a very hard addiction to quit!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! My DD is trying. At least she says she is. Quit once, then started again. Don't let that happen to you!!! Great Job, you should be very proud of yourself.

Don't give up on her, I quit tens of times and then one day, I just quit and have not smoked again and it has been over 5 years. I can't say that periodically I don't want one, but since I live in the country and the store is far and I am too lazy to go there, and I don't have any smokes, the feeling goes away.

So happy for you. I know how hard it is. And my advice is never take that first puff again no matter what the reason/excuse. Keep up the good effort.

Congratulations, I have heard quitting cigarettes is one of the hardest addictions to over come.

Good for you. Keep your mind set on the fact that you NEVER want to smoke again. I think I about went crazy when I quit! Have not smoked for 7 years. It was before chantix. I did get the zyban after a few weeks. I also used nicoderm in the beginning. I gave myself gifts!!! You have to do that with the money you save! Also exercise a lot if you can, drink lots of water and do deep breathing exercises. Just do one day at a time. Congratulations, be proud of yourself!!!

Grats that is one hard thing to do. I know, since I just quit last Feb. But I am still not smoking, and there are times when I wish I had a cigarette, but I don't so I just go on.

Wow, sending you big congrats on this seemingly impossible task. I have never smoked but I do know how hard it
is to quit. Have several friends & even my DH was a smoker at one time but it CAN BE DONE. Don't give up & just
keep plugging away. Buy yourself something really nice & momentous to mark this special event.

WAY TO GO!!! I just spent 225 on laser therapy. Need I say it didn't work. I already know I have no will power. I will keep trying different things until I can say I QUIT!!.
Just keep on doing what you're doing and best wishes.
