Was it Bobby Vinton that sung Blue Velvet?
Did Gene Pitney sing Town Without Pity?

You're right.
I just found this and thought you all might to continue down memory lane a bit further. Apologies to the younger people on the board.

"Surfer Girl", by the BEACH BOYS! I wore it out! I so wanted to be a Surfer Girl, sadly there's no surfing in the Land of Enchantment,

You don't need to apoligize. My husband always says my mind is like a steel trap that I don't forget some things. There is so much music out there to remember and enjoy. My husband is 12 years younger that me so I like all the 80's music too; guns & roses, u2, judist priest, bon jovi, aerosmith, tom petty, george thorogood, and the 70's too lynyrd skynrd, bruce springsteen, queen. My husband likes old country.

My first record was "Lets Spend the Night Together" by the Rolling Stones. When my mother heard it she amost had a heart attack. I had to buy a second one the first disappeared.
