Wow! Isn't it great when you didn't know you needed something. I just bought 2 groomers for $36.78 and free shipping. Great idea.

I made that frame. It was posted on here. If you do a search of "Kate Henry" it will come up. I used 2" pvc instead of 1". I make a lot of queen and king quilts and fmq them myself.

I wonder if those large Command strip hooks that you secure to the wall would work rather well? Then all you'd need is the small bungee cord with those small clamps attached to it to hold up the quilt.

catsden, is that while piece that looks to be leaning against the paneling part of the structure?. Or is there another leg of the frame behind the one in the foreground?

I don't think they would hold. They are only as strong as the paint and paper holding on to your wallboard....no match for a large quilt, IMHO. If you try it, let us know how it holds.

I got it off of EBay and they said they only had 2 groomers left. There was another person that had one groomer left just like the one I purchased and it was only $6 + shipping. Amazon had the next cheapest prices, but not as good as these deals. I think $30 was the cheapest I saw for one groomer.

No, those are a couple of base boards that I have stored there. There is a total of 8 pieces, 4 90 degree corners and 4 tri corners. I had to order the tri corners from amazon because Lowes did not have 2" size. I cut the long PVC pieces myself to suit my setup.
