re doing floors? Look at this!

My bdrm floors came from a 'moved' house, and the wife wanted something diff. He took the flooring up and sold to us. Oak parquet..I layed 3 floors entirely by myself while my hubby kepts me stocked with pieces and glue. The oak was finished dark, so we had professional strip, sand and refinish. I love my bedrooms. First pix shows in progress--next sows after refinishing. I started in 2011 and did all 3 by 2012. Hey! It took a while for these knees to recover between beginning again. I got a nice compliment from the refinisher...he said I could come to work for him anytime!
I love the red gingham and the HSTs on the site. The stair risers are very cool too.

Hello! Thank you ube quilting for sharing my website www.mirthstudio ! Our site has received quite a bit of traffic from the mention! I am Sally, the owner and designer and many of my patterns have indeed been inspired by traditional quilt patterns! We also do CUSTOM patterned wood floor tiles and have the ability to generate any design on a wood floor. Enjoy the site and Happy New Year!

Seeing a treadle(no h), converted in such a way makes me queasy. I saved my beautiful White Rotary treadle cabinet from such a fate.
