Removing permanent marker

I have used hair spray to remove ink and permanent markers off clothes and upholstery.(Please pretest your items before trying this method.) Just spray the mark with hair spay, let soak a few minutes and rub with a damp cloth. I have not tried this method to remove ink or permanent from plastic items.

Try a magic eraser. I've use it on marker & it came off.

That magic eraser is wonderful. Thanks for the tips. The coolers are now ready for the Ronald McDonald sale.

I used permanent marker by mistake and got it all out with rubbing alcohol
