We have similar plans. I just retired and we have also bought a travel trailer. So far we've made a two week trip to Ga and South Florida. Stayed about 3 days, twice visiting family members. Husband is now in hospital with an infected leg so we have to stay home for a while. Looking forward to more trips and more quilt shops.

Just made that trip.. It is a beautiful country we live in.. I love to drive/ride along and let the countryside just pass by the windows.. It was a wonderful trip.. I'll be going to Myrtle Beach in a couple of months so will be traveling that way again.. Happy retirement, safe trip!
