Happy trails to you. Congrats. I've heard that if you keep moving you keep young. Let us know if it's true

There has been a change in our plans. Nothihg in stone yet, but DH decided to go thru MO, then to the Bluegrass festival, on the where the Carter Family started, then to Gettysburg, to VA and back around as we were going to start. I hope traveling keeps you young, cause I'm getting tired just trying to figure this out. lol

Congrats on your retirement. Sounds like a wonderful trip. Sounds like you need to get away. Relax and enjoy.

Have a good time! I just retired, too, and we took a two week trip to enjoy hiking and ATVing. Traveled with travel trailer, and enjoyed the "good life". Hope you have many more retirement trips ahead!

My husband and I "retired" a couple of years ago, but the economy changed our plans, unfortunately. We're young to be retired, and so we we're just happy for the time we took off. Now he's back at work, but on a contract job. His contract may end in October. If it does, we'll take a long RV trip back to the East Coast. And if not, well, that'll be good news too. It's nice to be in a position where both outcomes are good. Have a great time on your trip. You will love every minute. I hope you keep a blog so we can follow your travels.
