Jan 6th it was -23 here in MN, we were probably warm compared to other towns. That was not the wind chill. About 17 yrs ago we had -40. I sure would have liked to have sent the cold away! The temps were much better by the end of last week.

Your hot weather has made the national news here in America due to the Tennis matches there. I so hope you get some relief soon. We are suffering from unusual cold and snow but you can always put more clothes on to keep warm. You can only take so many clothes off to stay cool LOL! Know that we are thinking about you and wish you cooler weather.

Thanks for the snow pic Auntpigglypln, Sending you a big hot hug to keep you warm. Today is going to be the worst day expecting 46C. The highest recorded temp for Adelaide is 46.1C, (115)so we might just break a record today. Some towns in the north of the state reached 50C yesterday. The emergency services are busy and on high alert. I'm staying in today too, maybe only wear my bathers. Hoping we don't get a blackout.

Hang in there Mrs. B. The kind of heat you are experiencing must be just horrible. May the heat break soon for you. In central New York State we're experiencing a January thaw right now. Many folks in the northern part of the state that received heavy, heavy snow (measured in feet instead of inches) are now dealing with flooding. The wrath of Mother Nature.

Wow -- that is hot!! I suffer when the heat is over 95 degrees! I would rather have the snow and cold -- I can always put more clothes on or wrap up in a quilt. When it gets too hot nothing gets done during the day and the animals suffer too. Hope your heat wave breaks soon and you get some relief!

Last week & the week before that, we had wind chills in the area of -40's to -53 celsius. I would gladly send some to you + some of our "metres" of snow as I have seen your sweltering temps & your terrible brush fires. Here's hoping you get a much needed respite soon.

If I could, I'd send you some of our weather in NE Ohio for some of yours!

Last week we had some unusual cold weather. I'm just hoping our summer isn't real hot but, afraid it may be close to your temps now.
Just try to stay as cool as you can. Your fall and winter will be there soon. At least I Hope so.
