Pat, I can see where it could get overwhelming to pick out the colors for each month. Have we done red's or florals recently? I know one time we did "sender's choice". I have one I have been saving in case we ever do that again.
Walking by myself gets pretty boring so I sometimes call my mom or my sister and talk on my cellphone while I walk. I need to get some kind of hands free device because the phone gets sweaty and my shoulders get tired of holding the phone up. I used to have a blue tooth thing you hooked over your ear.
Hubby and I talked about going on a bike ride today to see the fall colors. We are watching the Packer game now and I think it will be too hot for my anyway. Don't know that it is worth getting a migraine from getting overheated.

I just thought I should open up the choices to everyone instead of it always being my choice. We went to a pig roast last night and I ate tons . I guestimated the points and I figure with all of the potato salads and desserts I used up a lot of my extra 49 points for the week but stayed within my points. There were so many good things. I took small portions of the desserts and mostly ate one bite and threw the rest away.
I was thinking of going for a bike ride after dinner.

PenniF- Haven't been to the State Fair in years! Miss it - but the last time we drove all the way up there - walked for about 40 minutes and I just couldn't do it. Hip was killing me.

No, I haven't gotten back on track ---appreciate all your words of encouragement.

Been having a lot of problems with fatigue. yesterday I spent the whole day sleeping!
As for exercise, I do approximately 1.5 hrs a day of exercises for my back and for balance. Nothing strenuous but then have no energy to do anything else.

My problem is mindless snacking. My husband is Jack Spratt so we have lots of high carb snacks and I just can't deprive him.

Tomorrow is another day!!!!!

Hey Pete...it's just WRONG when you have someone in the family who can eat like that and never gain an ounce....i know exactly what you mean!!
I started buying the baked snacks - most of which are REALLY good. The new baked, flavored wheat thins are only 1 point (old point system) for 13 chips....and a lot of the other baked chips are only 2 points per bag....even the baked Cheetos....again the old points. At first DH turned his nose up - but then he tasted them and decided he liked them. Have you tried any to see if maybe you could sub those in for the carb snacks? Or on some things i still buy him the regular, and buy myself the baked. Just a thought.
About your being so tired....you have had your Thyroid checked yes??? Please.... i'm not trying to offend or get in your business at all - That's just one of the things i did last spring when i went in for a checkup and had been feeling really run down for several months.
Wishing everyone luck tomorrow. I'm going out later today and buy a new scale and a new 4 pound bag of sugar to make sure it's set properly. Ours is 20 years old - and will give you a different number every time you step on it.

Don't forget to sign up for October and to PM me your weight loss for September. I guess a good theme for FQ for the next 3 months would be October/ Christmas, November/ red and December/ your choice. Good luck.

AND THE WINNER IS JEANNE49! Congratulations! She lost 5.2 pounds in September. Great job. I will send your FQ out next week.
Several of you have said you only had a 1 or 2 pound loss and were disappointed with it. ANy loss is good, as is healthier eating. For each pound lost that is the size of a pound of butter gone. That is awesome.
Keep up the good work.
