I really love this! Thank You for sharing. I do have a personal issue that I guess I will never get over as I have tried for many years. I cannot go into the sewing room to sew if I do not have my housework done and the laundry done. It is a odd hangup I picked up in the 80's when I got into Cross-stitch so heavily. I could not allow myself to sit & stitch unless my housework was done. Wish I could get over it because I could sure get more sewing done. LOL As for me being made up and makeup, dress.....heck no!!! Not unless I have to go somewhere. And even then maybe not. LOL I do not even own a dress. LOL

Worse still ... some used to profess you had to press socks and underwear! *gasp*

I can't remember the last time I wore a dress around the house. However, I do keep my hair neat. My husband is home all day,(retired) so I don't worry about him coming home unexpectedly. My "uniform" for the day is jeans and a sweatshirt. Times have changed.

Oh, FIDDLESTICKS!!! Most of the time I'm comfy in jeans, sweat shirt and lace up boots, with cat hair on my shoulders from white Persian rubbing against me. No lipstick, not going anywhere anyway. And I'm not supposed to sew unless I'm ready to go to a photo shoot? Okay, if I'm going out the door were others are, I was trained to look decent, but at my age, just remembering where I'm going makes it a lovely day.

PAUGH!! And some Shucks to them!!

Shew! Good thing it doesn't say anything about having to wear a bra - or actually answer the door!

Since we work with vintage machines we see all sorts of what we now hink to be funny or oddly stated remarks- this one is good. I love the ones that state things to th affect of- If you have defective eye sight and if you are short in stature.

Boy - they've never been to my house. When I'm in my sewing room, the rest of the house is totally unseen and unattended. "Put on a clean dress???" PJ's or sweats are my choice of sewing attire. Powder & lifstick? Who am I trying to impress?? Too funny!!
