SHELVES IN SEWING ROOM
#41
You could do something like a Roman Shade but have it with stabilized flannel as the fabric facing you, then you could use it as a design wall when it's down, and when you wanted to look at your fabrics, just pull the string and it would go up and be tied to something so you'd be able to look at your fabrics without holding back a curtain.

Wow, everyone has such good ideas. If I want to make curtains it will take at least 10 yards to do so. So, where is a good place for good sale fabric?
But for that money, I could buy ready made curtains, I just need to find the right style. Thanks everyone.

Except, I can't find single sheets, every store near me only offers sets.
You could look at fabric shower curtains. There are some beauties on the market.

I have finally straighten my sewing room (thanks to you ladies and your ideas and your finished pictures of your rooms. Finally got me off my butt and I did mine. (I will post pics of before and after later.)
I walk in my room now and my eye goes to the wall with the huge shelving on it, and even though it is straighten, I don't want that to be the center point of the room, so I am thinking of hanging curtains on it.
What do you think?

Here is a link to pictures of my room. Thanks again for all your imput on the curtains. I am going to go with just putting a curtain on the lower shelves, will look for some folk/primitive fabric for that.
