Wonder if this will help my calf muscle. I've had 3 episodes in the past month where my calf muscle will just pop/snap while I'm walking and it puts me into instant pain where I can barely walk.

I have no idea what is causing this.

Have never had leg cramps - always eat bananas and drink plenty of water....I'm going to check into the Magnesium...I've never heard of taking magnesium.

My dad does the bar soap and it works for his leg cramps.

I heard about the soap several years ago, but have never used it. One thing certain, it's can't hurt; and most meds
now a days have about a dozen disclaimers.

I use to get leg cramps often, I would cry they hurt so bad but not anymore for years now. The only big change I made was my diet to no processed foods. I often wonder if it was the salt change. I only use Himalayan pink sea salt with all the natural trace minerals for table and sea salt with trace minerals for cooking and buy all salt free foods except bacon (DH has to have his bacon)

How strange! I never heard of that before - but the way my legs keep me up sometimes I'm willing to try just about anything. I wonder if the lump at the bottom of the bed would bug me?

I know one way to test that, though of course the absence of symptoms doesn't prove what made them go away. My husband gets cramps, and if I put the soap near the foot of the bed without mentioning this to him (and if he does not notice the lump and ask questions) it would remove the "hypnosis" possibility. I'll get back in a few months with a report. I think what I'll do is cut the soap thin and put it in a cheesecloth bag under the sheet. I don't think there's much risk he'd change the sheets if I don't ask for his help.

This is one of those ideas that is so flaky that it's hard to imagine anyone would have ever come up with it without some reasonable theory, but stranger things have happened.
Person who has cramps must not know there is a soap under his legs??????????? sh shsh ?????

Tonic water does it for me! Have some before retiring. Advice from a doctor.

One banana and tonic water seems to be working so far as suggested by our pharmacist.

It works. We use Ivory with aloe. Don't Know why it works but it does. It could be all mental but who cares...as long as it works.

It doesn't matter I use Dial. I have a bar on each side of the bed. I have not had leg or feet cramps since I put it in the bed. Going on 2 years
