Oh, my...what a mess. That happened to my MIL many years ago and to us once, as well. We have have also had a freezer die on us. Just a suggestion to anybody who is considering purchasing a new freezer...they now have freezers that have an alarm when the door is left ajar or there has been a power outage. We bought our son and DIL a freezer like that for a wedding gift back in March. And, now, I am thinking that maybe we should think about replacing our freezer with one like that, as well.

We have a freezer out on the back porch several sumer ago The grand kids were here and I kept finding the top open on the freezer. I said something to the youngest and she said she didn't leave it open .So I told her to just becarefull.
The night we got back from taking them back to Tennessee We are pulling into the carport and hubby see Big coon going under the house. The next morning the freezer was open again.
So I called the grand-daughter and told her that it was a coon.
