I have the same problem. This works for me. The gadget changes the position of the shoulder strap.

I have the same problem too. I tried that gadget and it doesn't stay clipped on. I am too short and too round in the front.

I to am short for my seat belt. I went to the children's dept. at Walmart and bought a seat belt holder that is a triangle shape and has snaps on it that the normal childrens car seats belts go in and it works great for me. It is a dark gray color and has pading on it. I am not sure exactly what the name of it is but it sure does help.

Try Harriet Carter; ( mail order catalouge) they used to sell an adapter, it hooked to the lap & shoulder harness to bring the two closer together....

My sister made me one and now my daughter, husband and I have 2 in each car. Take a piece of 2 inch velcro. Make the loop part of it twice the width of the seat belt and attach a piece of hook velcro the same width but not as long. Sew them together and wrap around the seat belt and secure with the hook . If this is confusing I can go get one and send a pic of it. We have tried the plastic clip and it didn't work. But hoop this around BOTH straps, slide it to where you want it and it will stay there.

I went to the car parts store and purchased a plastic clip made especially for sliding on the lap part of the belt. I am very short (barely 5 feet) and the seat belt was adjusted all the way down at the top but it was still too high on my neck. I just love the clip as it holds the shoulder part of the belt further toward the side of the car and off of my neck. My husband does not have to use it and he can slide it out of the way, yet it is there when I need it.

Yep, I've been using them for years. Works very well. You can also get them at http://harrietcarter.com for $5.99 for a set of 2.
