i'm a born and raised alaskan and have been there and done what sarah's shown the people outside, except i haven't been up to the slope. there's nothing like it! i'm older now, nudging elderly and really appreciated seeing sarah's alaska [when i remembered to turn the box on] so i do hope that her show has a rerun. and just as an aside, sarah IS well like here ..... her political views are a whole lot better than the lefties spread the wealth rot.

Hmmm....I would love to watch a program about Alaska, but I am honestly sick of reality-based tv shows. Definitely am not watching it!!!

I watched it and it reminded my of when our family would go camping in the back of a old truck w/cabover camper. I love looking at the outdoors up there. Our son-in-law is from Alaska. She camps with more modern equipment than we did, but I bet the kids still love it.

Just got through watching her Sunday show. Actually, I fell asleep watching it last night and we have "On Demand" so I watched it again this afternoon. It was really good. The best part, I think, was when they went to see the Kodiak Bears and she says to the guide "Do you have a firearm?" "No", he said, "But I brought along some bear spray." The scenery was outstanding and she was cutting lumber, preparing it for the mills and Willow and her father were stock car racing. I am really going to miss that show. She is such a good mother, I think!

I watched it for the first time last night. I am not into the politics either. I just liked the pretty scenery in it.
