The storms are dropping in on us from the north and then we have some coming from the south west and it is warming up more its 82* outside. Almost back up to our high from earlier today.

I think I am going to make a pitcher of Long Island Teas and watch the weather coming in.

What a terrible thing that has happened in Missouri. We put up with winters and snow for months. It is nothing compared to the storms that have happened in other areas. We have seen small tornados and hurricanes, though nothing like this.I heard about 8o or so dead, just horrid to think of

My thoughts and prayers to those tornado survivors... many who lost homes, pets and precious family and friends... It's an empty feeling knowing there is nothing I can personally do... probably donate -again- to Red Cross; and bless the rescue and recovery crews.

My prayers go out to everyone that has been in the path of the destructive tornados this spring. I cannot imagine going thru something like that. Hospital is destroyed and the whole area has been flattened. God Bless.

Heard about this late last night and watched all the news but havent turned on the news yet today. It tore up a hospital where at east 4 people were killed and the total number of dead last night was at least 24. Minneapolis and Wisconsin were also hit big. Ill be praying for all the people and hope they get help real soon.

I use to be annoyed every time my weather alert radio would go off and make that horrible siren sound.. Today Im grateful to hear it..My family took shelter in the basement yesterday ( Wanted to be close to the cellar/cold storage room just incase ) .. We were less than 60 miles from where the tornado touched down in Joplin...

Prayers to those who were in the tornadoes path...

Manager of Joann's Fabric was interviewed this morning on the news. He had 3 customers in the store when it hit. He said his office wall just started sliding in on him and then the store walls started caving in. He said they were light walls, though, so they were actually protected underneath them. The pictures show the fabric just hanging there soppin' wet. The Walmart Store is gone and Lowe's is a shell. Very scary stuff. We watched the whole thing for over 2 hours- trying totrack the storm, as we had a young friend about to drive right through it on I-44. They closed it due to so many semis being tipped over, so we re-routed her via texting south. Calls wouldn't go through but texting worked. Go figure.
