Awesome pictures. I was in NY in 1983 and I would love to come back for another visit! My DD & one of her friends are hoping to spend their spring break there. Some day I will make it back!

I loved looking at your pictures. When I think of Christmas I think of NYC, I suppose because of the Miracle on 34th Street. I also think of Vermont, because of Christmas movies. Lucky you and Emi. Nice to see you both.

If you ever want to come I will be more than happy to take you around.
Wow! That would be so wonderful but I have my doubts I will ever make It there, unless my rich uncle gets out of the poor house. LOL!! Your pictures do make me want to come for a visit.

I have visited the city at Christmas time and it is really magical. Do they still have chestnut vendors on the sidewalks?

You can go between Christmas and New Years and the feel is as festive as before Christmas. Anyone cares to join me?

Funny you say that, because second to NYC, Vermont is my one of my favorite places to be for Christmas. Once I spent it in a small town called Jamaica in Vermont, and it is everything you see in the movies. From where I was I could even see the lights at a nearby ski resort at night. For the last 10 years I lived in Plattsburgh, 20 minutes away from Burlington Vermont. Great place to go Christmas shopping.
