My co-worker went to the midnight showing here. She says it is WAAAAY better than the first one. The first one was very low budget, and the extra $$$'s in making this one show. She is very keen to go see it again. 3 or 4 of us are going on Sunday...I'll post my thoughts after I see it. :D

I saw New Moon yesterday, and must say I was disappointed.

I read the books and enjoyed them, they're definitely aimed at a younger audience but it was light reading and not too over the top.

But apart from the werewolf scenes, I thought the rest of the movie was pretty under done. I think it could have been made a lot stronger.

DD says you have to read the books to get the most out of the story line. There is a lot edited out for the movies. I can't wait to tell her about this discussion and show her the sign, lol. :D

Gals movie matinee yesterday.....and all I can say is...do we REALLY have to wait for June for the next one?!?!?!?! I thought they did a wonderful job with filming, and the effects were very well done...very realistic. They followed the book well, but of course, how do you fit a whole book into less than 2 hours? I definitely give it a thumbs up. :D
